Description: Dr Afaq Haydar Marhoom, professor of political science at the University of Arkansas, USA contacted Dr Aliya Imam, a known writer and scholar from Pakistan (she authored a book on Josh Sahib as well) and asked Dr Imam to arrange a candid conversation with Josh Sahib. Once this meeting was arranged, in 1981, Dr Afaq Haydar travelled to Pakistan and sat down with Josh Sahib. This conversation turned out to be a long one – 3-1/2 hours long! Dr Afaq Haydar promised Josh Sahib not to disclose and publish this conversation in his life. Dr Afaq Haydar, the younger colleague of Adeel Zaidi's father and a friend of his oldest brother, sent the entire conversation with his son to him on two cassettes to keep it. There is enough conversation here for Josh Sahib’s fans around the globe to enjoy his candid conversation and learn his thoughts and life experiences in his own voice. There is a 1968 recording of Josh sahib from a Mushaira – Jacobabad, Sind.
